Hi, my name is Sylvie. I am told I am between 7 and 9 years old. I came to Pug Partners from a breeder in Kansas. When I first came to my foster parent’s place I was really skiddish and preferred to be by myself. However, I have made a lot of progress in a very short amount of time. Everything that happens around here is so exciting, and I love being part of almost all of it. My foster parents tell me all the time that if my tail was a propeller I would just fly away. What can I say? It is exciting being able to do stuff. I love going outside and running around. All the excitement makes me tired though, so I am happy with a good nap here and there.

I am still getting used to a leash and going potty outside. I am getting there. I also prefer to sleep next to one of my foster parents, but I am not opposed to sleeping in a kennel as long as I have a blanket and the kennel is not plastic. I am not used to all the commotion that my foster parent’s 2-year-old daughter makes, but I am getting there gradually. When she is calmer we play well together, but the running around I am still working on. I like to find a spot to curl up and watch the world go by, but you’d better believe I am ready to bark at anything that comes near my house. What can I say? It is the Momma in me. I am still a little Leery of any major sudden movements or noises, but I am making progress.

I am current on all my shots and medications, and I am all healed up from getting spayed. I had a number of teeth pulled, so kibble is a bit of a struggle for me. I prefer my food softened a bit. I love anything beef flavored. If it isn’t beef flavored it isn’t for me. I may be best in a home that does not have a lot of commotion. Also, it may take me a little bit to get to know you. But, pet me, cuddle me and rub my belly a bit and I am yours. I love that kind of attention. If you take care of me I promise to always meet you with a wagging tale and unconditional love. Will you be my forever home?
