Pearl came to Pug Partners after a hard start — clear signs of neglect and scars from being attacked by another dog. She was about to be living on the street when a good Samaritan scooped her up and called Pug Partners. We said yes.

This girl is a spitfire, full of opinions and energy that fills the whole room. You’d never guess what she’s been through from her attitude — she’s eager and excited to meet new dog friends, tail wagging and ready to play. People take her a little more time and patience; she’s still learning to trust two-legged strangers, but she adores her foster sister, grooming her like they’ve been friends for years, and melts into anyone willing to hold her once she feels safe.

She’s still working on her house manners — housetraining is a work in progress — but a vet check confirmed she’s healthy and on the mend, and she’s settling into life with her foster family one day at a time.

Pearl’s story is exactly why we say yes, no matter the circumstances. We just needed to give her a chance — and a family with the patience to earn her trust and the love to match her spirit.
