Vito came to us as a breeder release, which meant he’d spent his whole life so far without ever knowing what it was like to just be somebody’s dog. On top of that, he was dealing with breathing problems that PPN was able to fix with surgery, finally letting him breathe easy for the first time.
And once he could breathe, there was no stopping him. Vito turned out to be a high-energy guy with an enormous amount of love to give and zero interest in personal space. He is, without exaggeration, the definition of underfoot. Wherever you are, he’s there too, usually somewhere around your ankles. He fell in love fast and hard with everyone he met, like he was trying to make up for lost time.
Vito found his forever home before he was even listed on our website, which feels like the right ending for a dog who waited so long for one. We’re so glad his story has a happy chapter.
