Meet Birdie, a tiny, wrinkly, bundle of sweetness who’s just beginning to discover what it means to be loved. After years in a commercial breeding facility, she’s finally getting her fresh start. Now she’s ready to find a forever home that will show her the world is safe, soft, and full of treats.

Birdie is the kind of dog who speaks in whispers. She’s not going to barrel into your lap or beg for belly rubs on day one. Give her a little time and a quiet space, and she’ll reward you with the most tender moments: gentle tail wags, shy nuzzles, and the soft weight of trust resting by your side.

She’s a classic pug through and through. Easygoing, soulful, and perfectly content just being near her people (especially if she can curl up in a cozy blanket). She’s not a barker or a wild child, just a calm little companion with a heart full of hope. She does great with other dogs in her foster home and seems happiest when things are low-key and predictable. Playfulness may come in time, but for now, she’s a sweet, quiet shadow.

Birdie is doing her best to adjust to the big new world. She is working hard on house training and is currently using potty pads if outside is too stressful. She even does great in her crate when her foster family leaves the house, despite her separation anxiety. Birdie is spayed, has had a full dental, and is up to date on all her care. She’s truly ready for her second chance.

If you know the joy of a snoring pug on your lap, or if you’ve ever fallen for those big eyes and bigger heart, you might be the person Birdie’s been waiting for. She doesn’t need much. Just patience, kindness, and a soft place to land.
