Hi my name is Jack! I’m a big guy with a big personality! I have been on a diet since I came to my foster home because I was on the chubby side. Now that I have lost some weight, I have a lot more energy and I feel so much better! I am becoming more playful. My new family will need to help me keep my weight in check. I love, love, love people! I never get far away from my foster Mom or Dad and every person that comes to the house becomes my new best friend! I like to play with stuffed toys or just hang out on the sofa with my people. I am house trained but I did mark for a few days when I first arrived, but I don’t anymore. I live with another pug, a frenchie and a cat. We all get along just fine. Other visiting family members have a chihuahua and a chow and we get along well too. I am crate trained and will go right to my crate when asked to and I don’t mind being in it when I’m home alone. I sometimes sleep in my crate at night but usually I sleep in bed with my people. My foster Mom says I snore like a tractor. But, hey, isn’t that what all people love about pugs? I walk well on a leash but I do like to be in the lead. My eyesight is pretty limited but I have learned the lay of the land and am able to navigate the house and yard on my own. Sometimes I may need a reassuring hand to help me get started down the stairs or to find the doorway but most of the time I do it on my own. I get eye drops twice a day for my dry eyes. Did I mention that I am very handsome? If you are looking for a handsome guy that will be your best friend, I just might be your guy!
